~A journey home to the Lands of Wallachia, to spread season greetings to both mortals and immortals~
~ A short walk near my family’s castle in the forest, not far from the Transylvanian/Carpathian Mountains ~
~Visiting the heads of the family~
~Everyone was of spirits! ~
~ One should bury their problems well! ~
~ I just had to visit my old friend Nick, a good immortal, some vampires despise him, I love him. He was born during the third century in the village of Patara. At the time the area was Greek and is now on the southern coast of Turkey. His mortal life ended long before mine began 10 centuries later! You ask, how could I know of him? He visited me several times as a young girl and looked after my family, but I never saw him in the day. I was born in 1367 and descended from the House of Basarab, I was a Byzantine Princess not far from where old Nick lay resting. On my way back to Vexexia I had to check in on old Uncle Nick. He is so cute! ~

The Turning Ritual (Il rituale di svolta): The changing of a human to a vampire form. A human must accept the gift of immortal life and pledge themselves to servitude to the coven and the vampire race. A ritual of feeding and infecting the host with vampire blood over time is preferred. Remember, for your entire personality and memory to be intact it may require an exchange of blood with a vampire over a course of three nights. Sometimes a single bitten victim will turn, but usually with severe memory loss or even as a mindless animated corpse.
Reanimation Ritual (rianimazione rituale): Very old vampires may sleep for over a 1000 years, but must be brought back in a reanimation ritual. This requires the remains to lay undisturbed and humans to be killed and the blood is poured over these remains for a period of 40 nights. On the 40th night, a good human, a virgin is fed to the master vampire, their corpse will reanimate as it drains the victim of their life giving blood…
Blood Bonding Ritual (legame di sangue rituale) is designed to be performed between two vampires who are willing to be committed and connected to one another in ways that go deeper than friendship but do not have to cross over into romantic love. It requires them to drink each other’s blood in a rite and words of bonding.
Bonding Words:
I give of myself
As I take from you,
so we forge a bond
that ties us soul to soul.
As I take from you,
so we forge a bond
that ties us soul to soul.
We are Immortal.
We are Undying.
And nothing can sever
the bond we have sealed.
We are Undying.
And nothing can sever
the bond we have sealed.

~ Venexia - Sangue di Drakul Coven ~
We are an old Coven in the finest traditions of proper vampire etiquette…
The Drakuli believe they are to be the nobility of vampires. They seek to rule at every opportunity. They live by strict rules of protocol, every greeting, bow or obeisance must be the correct one. This sabat has strict lines of reporting and authority and keeps its members in place through convoluted rituals and rules. They are likely to snub even the highest member of the other sabats if they do not use the correct greeting or etiquette. Appearance is of utmost importance to this bloodline, and they often dress in formal military uniforms or clothing one would expect to see on royalty.
